Business Development Advisor – IDAS (Nairobi) at KPMG

We are currently looking for an Advisor to support us in our Business Development activities across the above-mentioned sectors. The role will be based in Nairobi, Kenya

Key roles and responsibilities

1. Research and identify new business opportunities.
2. Research new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, competition, products and services.
3. Support in proposal and concept notes development for IDAS pursuits, including risk management processes support.
4. Coordinate pursuit debriefs with bid managers for IDAS led opportunities and document learnings to support business improvement and future pursuit strategies.
5. Proactively participate in client service and sector/pillar teams.
6. Support to assignment delivery teams as requested.
7. Any other tasks assigned to you.

Qualifications and experience

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Development or other relevant fields.
2. A least 3 years of work experience in business development research and support activities, preferably in international development/consulting firms.
3. Strong research and analytical skills.
4. Strong structured thinking, writing and communications skills.
5. IT proficiency.
