Position: Customer Service Officer

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Customer Service Officer, Jubilee Life Insurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Assistant Manager –Customer Service and will be based at Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose

The job holder will interact with Jubilee customers and ensure that customer data captured is correct and in line with the company’s processes and procedures. In addition, the job holder will deal with and help resolve any customer complaints and implements initiatives to improve customer satisfaction levels and loyalty, while ensuring that the customers receive world class customer service experience.

Main Responsibilities

1. Contact customers for the purpose of data validation in line with the data protection guidelines.
2. Provide customer feedback on validated data.
3. Update the customer feedback template.
4. Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are promptly and effectively resolved within the required TAT.
5. Maintain customer records by updating account information on the feedback template.
6. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
7. Support in closing of leads generated through the various digital platforms.
8. Maintain strong relationship with customers.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Marketing, Administration,or any other related field.
2. Progress in CII/IIK.
3. Proficient use of Excel

Relevant Experience

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a similar position. Knowledge of regulations by AKI & IRA will be an added advantage.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Senior Medical Underwriter, Jubilee Life Insurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Operations Manager and will be based at Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose

The job holder will evaluate, price, and prescribe the terms to apply on risks proposed to deliver the desired loss ratio and profitability.

Main Responsibilities

1. Account Management.
2. Evaluate risks proposed and prescribing loading rates and terms commensurate with the level of risk before acceptance.
3. Monitor/Audit underwriting processes. Reconcile errors and omissions in underwriting.
4. Reinsurance underwriting.
5. Authorize refunds, cancellations,and process payments to service providers.
6. Review renewals based on claims experience to retain quality businesses.
7. Insurance premium booking and processing of underwriting cases.
8. Prompt handling and response to customer enquiries once received.
9. Prepare periodic management reports.
10. Mentor, coach,and train junior underwriting staff to ensure all their work is as per underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications
