    Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

    The Intern will be responsible for supporting the team to conduct monthly reconciliations, conduct analysis, gather, analyze, and evaluate data.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assisting in data and financial analysis with guidance from the team
    • Assisting in monthly reporting around various reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Drafting and reviewing various documents and proposals as required.
    • Researching topical investment issues and preparing opinions and insights on the same
    • Assisting on research activities, including but not limited to: Compiling information, gathering data and summarizing referral resources based on research activities.
    • Conducting and taking minutes of the meetings held with both internal teams and external stakeholders
    • Assisting in other duties in the department

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration or another relevant field.
    • Has the intention to start or has started CFA would be an added advantage.
    • No experience required.
    • Interest in investment banking, VC, PE is an added advantage.
    • Strong Excel and quantitative skills with the ability to quickly learn new technical skills.
    • Already has or is keen to build communication and social skills and is flexible to work within a multi-cultural team environment.
    • Interest in data and financial analysis.
    • Organized with a high level of initiative.
    • Good research, writing and communication skills.
    • Self-driven and tech savvy.
    • Highest standard of accuracy and highly organized.

    Warehouse and Logistics Roles

    Responsibility:  Receive, organize, and dispatch goods; maintain the physical condition of the warehouse; verify the return of the company assets and equipment at the end of the assigned shift; implement and improve the inventory management controls in the warehouse; supervise the warehouse staff and manage their performance; maintain a safe, healthy and OSHA compliant working environment; drive functional operational efficiency through management of the allocated budget.

    Minimum Qualifications: Possess a bachelor's degree or diploma in business management, logistics, supply chain management, or related field; have at least 3 years experience in a similar role within the Food Industry, ideally, in an established background in Fresh Produce / Consumer Goods company in a warehouse role; possess excellent organization & time management skills; have exceptional numerical skills and an understanding of inventory management; be familiar with warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); have strong leadership and ability to manage a diverse team of staff; and a willingness to work anywhere in the country.

    DELIVERY ROLE

    Responsibility: Products delivery, customer retention, and payment collection within the set timelines and laid out standard operating procedures to the customer’s satisfaction. The role will also be required to achieve the set business targets including the set sales revenues. The role will also be responsible for gathering and monitoring the competitor activities and share market insights with all relevant internal stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifications: Possess a KCSE certificate; have at least 1 year of relevant experience in order management and delivery; have strong communication skills and be adept at customer service and multitasking; have basic computer competency to write reports and perform basic data entry; be physically mobile and able to lift heavy loads without strain.
