ECD & Lower Primary Teachers Job at Little Harvard Academy

We are looking for candidates who have experience in teaching Baby Class to Pre-unit (2 – 6 years).

Key Responsibilities

• Planning activities that meet the social, physical and emotional needs of the children
• Develop scheme of work and lesson plans in line with the school curriculum
• Schedule stimulating and learning activities for the children
• Prepare teaching aids to facilitate children learning
• Devises activities that introduce numbers and grammar concepts and makes note of the children’s progress both socially and intellectually
• Devises games and activities, and also provides playing equipment, and ensure the playing facilities and equipment are clean and safe
• Supervise the children as they learn and play
• Discusses the children’s progress with their parents and keeps them informed

Qualifications & Experience

• A diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized college
• At least 3 years working experience in a kindergarten setting
• Proven ability to prepare teaching aids and lesson plans with good hand writing skills
• Ability to establish and enforce rules for behavior and class control
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Good organization and communication skill
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
• Must demonstrated passion for teaching and children
