    Supply Chain Management Officer, Grade ADAK 7
    Salaries Scale: 70,350-96,600

    Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Management Job 

    • Preparing and maintaining stores records;
    • Keeping custody of and updating inventory records;
    • Overseeing receiving of stores on charge;
    • Complying with Procurement Act;
    • Preparing requisitions for stocks replenishment;
    • Receiving and processing suppliers’ invoices for payment.
    • Participating in stock taking and reconciliation of records;
    • Participating in inspection and acceptance of goods and services;
    • Participating in tender opening;
    • Checking and verifying issue notes and invoices;
    • Maintaining catalogue for items identified for disposal;
    • Monitoring the movement of stores;
    • Securing items identified for disposal; and (xiv) Preparing of periodic stores returns. 

    Qualifications for the Supply Chain Management Job

    • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Procurement and Supply
    • Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Supply Chain
    • Management, Procurement and Contract Management, Logistics and Supply
      Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution

    Method of Application

    Candidates interested in the above positions are expected to fulfill the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya, 2010. They must obtain and submit with their application copies of clearance certificates from the following organizations:

    • Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
    • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
    • Criminal Investigation Department (Certificate of Good Conduct)
    • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

    Those fulfilling the requirements of the positions should submit their applications quoting the vacancy and Vacancy No. on the envelope.
