Responsibilities

Reporting to the officer in charge, he/she will: –

• Advice the department on financial matters and ensure compliance with PFM Act 2012
• Manage petty cash and other imprests
• Participate in the department’s budgeting process and implementation.
• Prepare AIEs for the department based on approved work plans.
• Liaise with the county treasury and communicate to the department on emerging financial matters.

Requirements

• For appointment a candidate must have the following qualification: –
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option), Business Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized institution and passed part II of CPA

OR

• A pass in part III of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or its recognized equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum two (2) years relevant experience

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
