JG ‘M’

Responsibilities

• To apply the principles and procedures of modern medicine in preventing, diagnosing, caring for and treating illness, disease and injury;
• Supervise the implementation of care and treatment plans by other medical personnel,
• Conduct medical education and research activities in clinical area of work
• Participates in the development of procedures for the department
• Makes decisions regarding work processes based on established guidelines
• Prioritizes and organizes work to meet changing conditions and any other roles and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Must have bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBChB) degree from a recognized institution.
• Successfully completed one year internship from a recognized institution.
• Must poses a valid practicing from Medical Practitioners and dentist board.
• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
• Must meet the requirement of the Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
