Job Description

This is a Project monitoring based in the Kenyan

• Monitoring all electrical engineering sub-contractor’s construction activities for quality work
• Reviewing electrical drawings against associated drawings and identifying and reporting any discrepancies during site technical meetings.
• Inspecting electrical conduits fixing and liaising with electrical engineer for approval for concrete casting
• Liaising with consulting electrical engineer whenever we identify electrical issues.
• Writing RFIs to consulting electrical engineer for any clarification needed on the drawings.
• Regular review and checks on the shop drawings being used on site to ascertain that they are up to date and approved by the consulting electrical engineer
• Enforcing quality control measures on the electrical sub-contractor
• Assisting the construction manager to organize testing of material & approval within the electrical scope
• Submitting of weekly progress reports on electrical works
• Coordinating submission of samples within the electrical scope
• Coordinating testing and commissioning
• Coordinating submission of O&M manuals and approval of the same from the electrical engineer
• Assisting the client QS in carrying out valuation of electrical work done.
• Minimum of 6 years work experience
• member of the relevant engineering body in Kenya

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years work experience
• Registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya
