Graphic Designer at Phastar

Role responsibilities: 

We are looking for a graphic designer to join the marketing team and assist the company with all design projects and creation of graphics and artworks. 

• Using adobe creative suite to design impactful materials such as brochures, animations, infographics, adverts, social media content and images  
• Producing creative, branded, bespoke templates and presentations from sketches and ideas 
• Creating marketing collateral, branding, website designs and digital assets 
• Proofreading and improving copy 
• Assisting with website content updates

• Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate briefs  
• Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain ideas

• Being open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years' experience in a similar graphic design position 
• Excellent MS Office skills as well as good knowledge of design software (specifically MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Photoshop) 
• Creativity and being able to create designs from sketches and ideas 
• Taking ownership of own work, proofreading experience and providing high standard quality of work 
• Design agency experience is a plus 

This is a permanent, full time role, based in our Nairobi office (Kenya).
