The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of business activities. As a small company, it means you need to be hands-on, work across different roles and take on different responsibilities as required. This will include supporting partners and customers with installations, training, after-sales support, market research, logistics and procurement. As the company grows and we engage new talent like sales and product managers, your role will evolve towards more defined management position.
You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners in the region. You will need to travel regularly within Kenya and the region, spending time in rural areas with customers and farmers. Your ultimate mission is to ensure Agsol’s machines deliver maximum benefits to our customers and you will do whatever is necessary to make that happen.
You will also function as the Project Manager for some funded projects. In this role you will be required to deliver on milestones against project schedules, satisfy reporting requirements, and manage the day-to-day running of the project.
