    Project Manager

    Position Summary: 

    Under the direction of the Director of PMO and BPM, Manages and oversees all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverable. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Requires 0-2 years of related experience. Duties include coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to help deliver projects according to plan. The Junior Project Manager will focus on Project documentation (completing required templates) and communication (collecting project status information, meeting notes, reporting etc.) 

    Overall Responsibilities:  

    • Document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Director of PMO, Senior Management and stakeholders. 
    • Draft initial project plans and associated communications documents. 
    • Identifies resource needs for the project; establishes roles, expectations, and goals with identified team members from the functional areas 
    • Develops the project plan soliciting input from his/her team on the plan and project design 
    • Identify project dependencies and critical path. 
    • Understands and communicates the inter-dependencies and predecessors of the various tasks  
    • Develops proposals for all changes requested that affect the project 
    • Establishes responsibility for assigned project/s tasks/milestones 
    • Establishes clear decision-making and communication processes; monitors project progress 
    • Participates in analyzing and resolving problems associated with technical issues, project resource issues, and project integration issues 
    • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. 
    • Disseminate project success criteria to involved parties throughout project life cycle. 
    • Designs and prepares team, executive and client facing presentations to communicate company goals and progress 
    • Supports project by leveraging best practices, experiences and know-how from other resources 
    • Communicates with Client on all matters relating to project 
    • Responsible for continuous cost reduction, process improvement and problem resolution 
    • Responsible for strategically developing the program for the future (technology, strategy, processes) 
    • Identify and escalate issues and conflicts within the project team. 
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks/crises, and assist in planning risk responses. 
    • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. 
    • Assist with project reviews, lessons learned and associated action planning (identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements). 
    • Support project by leveraging best practices, experiences and know-how from other resources. 
    • Responsible for continuous cost reduction, process improvement and problem resolution 
    • Responsible for strategically developing the program for the future (technology, strategy, processes) 

    Job Requirements: 

    • 4 year degree in  Project Management or Business Administration (Candidates actively pursuing educational requirements may also be considered) 
    • Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution 
    • Familiarity with MS Project software 
    • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential 
    • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities 
    • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. 
    • Flexible during times of change 
    • Willing to travel and work overtime as business needs require 
    • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines 
    • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments 
    • Strong written and oral communication skills 
    • Strong interpersonal skills 
    • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products 
    • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies quickly 
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial 
    • Excellent PC knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Project and Visio) 
    • Knowledge of (and experience with) the various work streams within a contact center environment  

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:   

    While performing the duties of this job the employee requires mobility, the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols as well as hand/eye coordination. The employee regularly sits for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee regularly uses office equipment. Employee will regularly use a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
