    Sales Executive

    Details:

    Oakar Services Ltd. is seeking high-energy sales professionals with strong sales skills, sound business acumen, and strong technical aptitude to join its sales team. The Account Executive is responsible for managing their own pipeline of sales opportunities and driving them to close. He/she will be responsible for prospecting for new opportunities within new and existing accounts to keep their sales funnel full and meet set revenue targets. The Account Executive will leverage product and solution specialists for pre-sales support to present and demonstrate how Oakar Services products and services can meet customer needs. 

    Responsibilities

    • Prospecting for new business in new and existing accounts
    • Manage a sales pipeline to drive sales opportunities to close
    • Achieve quarterly revenue goals and yearly quotas to drive aggressive sales growth
    • Solicit customer business needs and feedback and develop and maintain strong customer relationships
    • Engage with key decision-makers and users in client organizations to build a comprehensive and long-term vision for the use of geospatial technologies
    • Maintain active engagement with existing customers to increase product usage and uptake
    • Carry out demand generation activities like Events & Seminars

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics/Geospatial Engineering, IT or a related field
    • Self-starter, high energy, aggressive and results-oriented
    • A minimum of 3 years work experience. Experience in technology sales to small, medium and or large organizations offers a distinct advantage
    • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to travel and work in a global environment
    • Ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage time effectively
