Web Developer Required at CystemPoa Networks LTD

We are currently looking for a talented  and self driven Web Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing modern, beautiful, functional, fully responsive and optimized websites and related applications using a variety of programming languages.

Responsibilities

The Web Developer's responsibilities will include:

• Gathering requirements from clients and users.
• Editing, writing, or designing website content.
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Creating website layout/user interface using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Maintaining, expanding and scaling websites.
• Applying emerging technologies/industry trends into all web development operations.
• Planning and prototyping new applications.
• Designing architecture of components of applications.
• Deciding on the best technologies and languages for projects.
• Testing sites and applications in different browsers and environments.
• Fixing bugs in existing projects and general problem solving.
• Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform correctly in all cases.
• Running performance benchmarking tests.
• Building and testing Application Program Interfaces [APIs] for applications to exchange data.
• Managing web hosting
• Attending meetings with clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
• Experience in developing responsive websites using WordPress.
• Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc).
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must have a portfolio of at least 5 websites currently online.
• Bsc in computer science or another IT field.
• At least two years’ experience as a full stack web developer.
• Competence in graphic design, search engine optimization and/or social media marketing is an added advantage.
