Qualifications for the Motorbike Driver Job

• Must be between 18 years to 30 years of age and have a valid motorbike driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Safety is our priority. You must have a valid medical insurance with your preferred insurance.
• You should possess navigational skills to read Google maps, Location Mapping & Dropping of PIN Locations using Mobile device.
• You should be able locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• The delivery motorbike rider is often the only point of contact our customers have with the store. Therefore, they must have great customer service skills.
• You should reside in Nairobi, for ease in reporting to work as early as 7AM.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally or in writing with customers and team members to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• For short distances walking is recommended.
• Paperwork is normally completed whilst sitting at a desk or table.
• Bulk product deliveries require lifting.
• Carrying of products to warehouse location will be performed twice a week.
• Co-Workers must infrequently navigate stairs to access both stores when necessary.
• Crouching/Squatting is performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
• Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.

Dress the part: We’ll provide you with a uniform. We just ask that you keep it clean and come to work wearing it.

Responsibilities of the Motorbike Driver

• Delivering products to our customers.
• Providing quality customer service at the door.
• Attending to customer concerns.
• Driving safely at all times.
• Assisting with customer service in store.
• Assisting with receiving, processing & preparing products for dispatch to fulfill orders.
• Assisting with collecting and clearing of cargo and or parcels addressed to Vivid Gold.
• Assisting other co-workers once requested.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Daily general cleaning duties in store.
• General motorbike maintenance at all times, (Cleaning, Service, Fueling etc)
• Keep watch on Mileage in accordance to GPS Tracking of motorbike.

Commencing Salary: Net Ksh 15,000 (Lunch provided)
