- 8+ years’ experience of selling Enterprise Networking solutions either in one of the OEMs or one of their primary channel partners in Central Africa.
- Strong understanding of positioning Fabric/WLAN networking solutions and SDN technology for various verticals
- Solid global and local market knowledge and relationships with large customers
- Experience in dealing with multi dollar deals
- Be able to drive Avaya’s networking business in the territory, including direct sales, channel strategy and enablement, and internal co-ordination with the networking business unit.
- Able to integrate into the local sales organization and support them to achieve the territory’s networking objectives.
- Technical background with strong technology understanding but at the same time be able to communicate have good sales experience in closing a deal
- Nationality: Any so long as they can gain entry/work visa
- Language: Fluent in English. French / Arabic is a plus.
- Based in Kenya or Nigeria
- Regular travel across African continent – 50% of their time will travelling meeting clients.
