About the job
We are seeking to strengthen our BRS team by recruiting a highly motivated individual for the position of manager. The Manager will support the BRS practice through generating and executing large and complex recovery and restructuring cases, supported by a high-calibre team.
Specific roles & responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities of the successful candidate for the position will include:
•Manage project teams in the delivery of large and complex insolvency, restructuring and independent business review mandates
•Raise the profile of the team both internally as well as externally through project delivery, networking, thought leadership and press coverage activities.
•Contribute to driving revenues across for BRS and the wider PwC advisory practice.
•To undertake and lead business development through active pursuits by identifying leads, converting leads to expressions of interests, proposals and client engagements;
•Responsible for the design of client solutions and the development of client deliverables such as assignment reports and presentations;
•Manage external and internal stakeholders and ensure proper service delivery so as to exceed client expectations;
•Responsible for credit management and liaison with various stakeholders on debt collection;
•Manage project economics to ensure profitability of the unit;
•To lead teams and build synergies while coaching junior consultants on various best practices, methods and processes;
•To develop and mentor staff
•To participate in the various firm's activities
Required Skills & Competencies
•5 to 7 years’ experience in undertaking insolvency, restructuring and Independent Business Reviews assignments in a professional services firm.
•Professional membership with a recognised professional Body.
•Masters degree in a relevant field, CPA, ACCA, CFA or JIEB qualifications would be an added advantage.
•Complex Stakeholder Management and negotiations experience.
•Experience in advising both banks and corporates with bank debts.
•Have a strong network of work-winning relationships.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
•Confidence and presence, with credibility at the highest levels.
•Strong analytical skills
•Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain good client relationships
•At least 8 Years’ experience in a similar field.
