    Social Media

     

    Social Media Job Responsibilities

    • Conceptualise and execute online campaigns for various projects
    • Generate, source for content and conversations on the company’s social media platforms in line with the agreed marketing strategy
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of information on all social media platforms and websites
    • Advise and participate in the development of social content using data and insight to inform your decisions
    • Provide social media analytics and trends
    • Optimise all the company social profiles as well as websites
    • Deliver innovative campaigns across social channels to engage and build relationships with our audiences and customers

     Qualifications for the Social Media Job

    • Communication/Marketing Degree
    • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
    • Demonstrate evidence of having run social media campaigns and accounts, either from scratch or inherited working across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
    • Practical experience with social platform management tools , creating and scheduling content on brand social media profiles.
    • Excellent communicator
    • Honest, self-motivated, well organised and have a good grasp of media laws and media ethics.
    • Creative thinker and innovator
    • Must have exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to interpret and adhere to brand tone of voice

    Media & Production Researcher

     

    Responsibilities for the Researcher Job

    • After initial briefing by the producer, undertake independent research to a broad or specific brief, using all sources of reference, both internal and external, including proper note-taking. Such research may involve either a journalistic or academic approach, and may involve finding and contacting individuals and organizations; finding locations for filming; identifying and selecting stock shots and film clips; making a preliminary selection of suitable material and music.
    • Evaluate research in terms of programme aims and intentions, make preliminary selections and present findings either verbally or in writing to the producer. As required, to view archive material, select relevant sections and arrange viewing facilities for the producer.
    • Be prepared to work as part of a strong and effective team. Able to demonstrate judgment on appropriate referral of issues to more experienced members of the production team.
    • Take responsibility for delivering to tight deadlines while maintaining the highest journalistic standards.
    • Suggest strong stories and offer creative and compelling ways of presenting research material within the programme.
    • Find and make initial contact with appropriate contributors; ascertain their views; brief them on the programme intentions; make arrangements for them to be filmed; and look after them before during and after filming.
    • When requested, to attend filming and carry out duties as required, including shooting/operating sound. Assist in assembling programme material in its final form. This can include the preparation of interview questions, draft scripts and assembly and preparation of material for rostrum work.
    • Contribute ideas for new series and programmes

    Researcher Job Requirements

    • Degree in Media/Journalism
    • Experience as a television researcher and/or a track record in journalism in other media.
    • Good understanding of television production techniques and procedures.
    • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to assess complex information to provide accurate and engaging summaries of research
    • Experience of working effectively with a team – able to demonstrate judgment on appropriate referral of issues to more experienced members of the production team.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to establish positive working relations with a wide range of contacts
    • Understanding of policy requirements, safety regulations, contractual provisions and limitations, statutory requirements relevant to programme making and the legal issues associated with investigative journalism, covert filming and programme financing.
    • Ability to present a professional and positive image at all times.

    Office Manager

     

    Duties and Responsibilities for the Production Office Manager Job

    • To provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the management and production team
    • To act as the first point of contact within the company.
    • Experienced in drafting emails/letters and responding to queries and correspondence as directed.
    • To manage diary, budgets, accounts and office supplies
    • To manage and organize meetings and events; booking rooms/venues, preparing agendas, taking minutes, collating and distributing them afterwards.
    • Liaison with production team, talent and third parties as directed by management.
    • Coordinate logistics such as travel, accommodation, hotels and hospitality
    • To supervise the Office Assistant and other assigned staff

    Office Manager Job Skills and Qualifications

    • Degree in Business Administration/PR and related fields
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position preferably in media industry
    • Demonstrate experience as an office manager/coordinator providing a high level of support in a fast paced working environment to multiple principals.
    • Significant experience managing complex, constantly changing diaries.
    • Excellent organizational skills, proactive and flexible to changing and conflicting priorities.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident working with everyone from entry level staff up to managers
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to express issues and ideas clearly and concisely.
    • An interest in television/radio production more broadly would be desirable but not essential.
    • A willingness to learn about the programmes we make is essential.
    • Understanding of key production deadlines with ability to prioritize workload
    • Experience of handling often highly confidential information with tact and sensitivity
    • Ability to present a professional and positive image at all times.
    • Ability to be a role model for the Company Values.
