    Project Manager - 3 positions

     

    Job Principal Accountabilities

    • In charge of project Management from start period to end of the project.
    • Liaise with all stakeholders in successful job implementation.
    • Carry out regular site visits/inspections and report accordingly.
    • Advice on the payment to contractors and get financial appraisals prepared by the project Quantity
    • For purposes of budgetary allocations.
    • Check all the legal obligation at different stages are adhered to and met by all concerned parties involved.
    • Advice on matters related to the assigned projects.
    • Any other relevant services may necessitate on the development site including quality control.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A minimum of a Degree in Project Management/Construction or related field.
    • At least 5 years’ real experience in project management.
    • Registered with relevant professional body is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD desired and added advantage
    • Valid Driving License
    • Willing to work extended hours

    Office Manager/Receptionist

     

    Main Purpose of the Job

    The position holder performs all administrative duties on day to day which includes running the office as a receptionist. The candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer care skills, with an ability to communicate fluently, accurately and clearly across all levels of the organization.

    Job Key Responsibilities

    • Operate telephone switchboard by clearly answering all calls and transferring the calls appropriately.
    • Running the office on day to day
    • Manage the reception area.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the office.
    • Manage all the incoming and outgoing calls, receive all messages and ensure that they are promptly delivered to respective staff.
    • Welcoming guests and responding to enquiries.
    • Type documents, reports and correspondence as and when required.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
    • Keep alert on security issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
    • Diploma in Secretarial studies or front office management is an added advantage.
    • At least 2 years’ work experience in a similar position.
    • Good communication and public relations skills.
    • Excellent computer skills.
    • Ability to handle people of diverse culture.
    • Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
    • Smart / well-groomed personnel
    • Friendly and approachable

    Accountant - 5 positions

     

    The ideal candidate MUST have experience working in a busy environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Payroll preparation and statutory remittance.
    • Submit relevant withholding and VAT payments to Kenya Revenue Authority.
    • Prepare and coordinate deposit activities.
    • Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations.
    • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments.
    • Assist in month end reporting procedures.
    • Prepare and process employee expense reports.
    • Design, prepare, and maintain accounting and finance spreadsheets.
    • Clients’ accounts reconciliations for payments received and disbursed.
    • Keep track of the company’s in-house employee loan scheme.
    • Create sales agreements and proforma invoices and assist the sales team in seeing through sales.
    • Prepare a proper monthly Work-in-Progress report and a stock report.
    • Prepare all financial accounts ready for Auditors.
    • Review new procedures, manuals, and system enhancements.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4 years’ work experience in Accounting or Finance.
    • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
    • CPA(K) or CPA 4 and above
    • Experience working with multicurrency.
    • Must be below 45 years.
    • Advanced proficiency in accounting software tools, i.e. spreadsheets.
    • Ability to understand and apply current accounting guidelines, system and policy updates.
    • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines of the work area.

    Accounts Assistants - 5 positions

     

    The ideal candidate MUST have experience working in a busy environment.

    Accountabilities

    • Compile and analyses financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts.
    • Entering daily transactions to the existing accounting software in this case SAP.
    • Prepare both bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Maintain proper records for all tax returns which should be readily available and fully support all tax returns.
    • Timely submission of statutory returns and which need to be made on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis including VAT, PAYE all in Itax, NHIF, NSSF, HELB etc.
    • Keeping track of Payroll Liability accounts including reconciling the same with the Payroll Officer.
    • Preparation and participating in both the internal and statutory/external audit.
    • Maintain Accounts Payable records and verification of invoices before payments.
    • Prepare payments (including advances to staff) and inform suppliers about payments
    • Reconciliation of accounts payables based on monthly statement
    • Perform any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

    Qualifications:

    Knowledge, experience & capabilities

    • CPA Section 4 and above
    • At least 2-years accounting experience
    • University Degree in relevant Field is an added advantage
    • Below 40 years
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
