    Fuel Supply Chain Manager

    Job Purpose:

    KOKO Networks has a growing logistics/supply chain team based in based in Nairobi. The primary responsibility of the Fuel Supply Chain Manager is to ensure safe and efficient fuel supply chain and distribution.

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    •         Oversee the development, implementation and continuously improve the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Management System at the depot and                 entire fuel supply function.
    •         Effective sourcing to ensure cost effective supply of fuel.
    •         Effective management of staff to ensure team effort to enhance productivity
    •         Oversee development and adherence to depot standard operating procedures.
    •         Effective preparation management of capital and operating expenses.
    •         Initiative in design and development of effective equipment, processes and systems to enhance service delivery within fuel supply and distribution function.
    •         Participation in supplier / contractor selection and performance management.

    Education & experience.

    •         Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or similar technical fields.
    •         Experience in implementation of ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 or equivalent HSEQ management systems in a fuels depot is a definite advantage.
    •         3 years’ supervisory experience in Engineering project management, terminal operations maintenance and fleet management.
    •         Experience in managing contractors and Engineering projects.
    •         Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    •         Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail
    •         Strong organizational and leadership skills and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    •         Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    •         Previous experience with ERP, and CRM is an asset.
