Family Medicine Consultant Job at AIC Kijabe Hospital

Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Medical Director, the consultant will glorify God through provision of excellent outpatient and emergency care to patients.

The Consultant will also be responsible for teaching and mentoring residents and interns.

S/he will also be part of a community of Doctors where s/he will be expected to learn with and teach others the principles of quality health care.

Qualifications

An applicant MUST meet the following requirements:

• Master’s Degree in medicine, or equivalent (Board Certified) in  Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine and in good standing with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB).
• Desire to see Kijabe Hospital clinical, spiritual and educational teams fulfill their purposes.
• Experience in teaching or training.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
