Web Developer Job Key Responsibilities

• She/he should strive to create and improve the visual appeal of the Binti Kenya site and integrate functions and features that enhance the user-friendliness of the site as well as clear navigations.
• Constant integration of API’s and functions linking internal processes to website back-end systems.
• The position requires constant communication with colleagues in gathering requirements and specifications for implementation
• Constant Web User Interface Design (UI) and implementation
• Participate in all phases of Web application and other websites development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Develop custom web applications and websites using the PHP, javascript and CSS.
• Prepare project specifications documents, features documents, feature documents and project plans.

Qualifications for the Web Developer Job

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and relevant work experience in web development or
• A diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in web development.
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and the following programming languages: HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, APIs and Object-Oriented Design.
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; good team skills and able to work without supervision
