Sales Nutritionist Job at Yara International

The position will be located in Nairobi, Kenya and will report to the Marketing Manager in Durban, South Africa

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and/or nutritional information to customers on the use of Yara products
• Achieve sales targets according to the business plan
• Provide customer service to existing and new customers
• Ensure Yara remains the preferred supplier in the market
• Collect revenue from sales and follow up on outstanding debtors
• Ensure that cost is managed within business plan
• Generate weekly and monthly reports
• General sales administration

Profile

• A Bachelor’s of Science degree with a bias in Animal Nutrition.
• Additional qualification / experience in sales and marketing will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years working experience in Agricultural Sales of which 3 years must be in Animal Nutrition
• Computer Literacy - Microsoft office essential
• Strong negotiation skills (high influence)
• Proficient in English and Swahili ( Written and spoken)
• A network in the Animal Nutrition sector would be advantageous.
• Holder of a clean valid driver’s license
• Flexibly to travel
