Role Description

This position offers the opportunity to take your passion for working with people and help hire “SUPERSTARS” for a company that deeply cares about its staff and patients. If you’ve ever been curious about getting into recruiting. This is the job for you! We are happy to take someone with no experience in this and train from the ground up!

Responsibilities

• Ensure full transparency in the recruiting department.
• Maintain an organized and up to date database of all applicant’s CVs electronically.
• Maintain (and create!) up to date records of Interview notes for each interviewee
• Make sure that candidates have all valid documents needed.
• Post adverts on job boards and posters in the community.
• Screen applicants’ CVs.
• Conduct poaching/headhunting of candidates.
• Ensure that work trial candidates are paid on time.
• Ensure that Penda is offering a fair chance to all applicants for a job.
• Work with hiring manager to give a world class experience for applicants.
• Send regret emails to candidates who don’t go through the interview process.
• Make sure you and your teammates love their work. It’s a part of your job. Work well with others. Go above and beyond what is expected from you.
• Ensure maintenance of a healthy working relationship with teammates

Requirements

• Available full time
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Loves talking with and learning about people
• Fluent in Swahili and English
