Institutional Strengthening Technical Experts at Chemonics

The program will provide organizational assistance to the East African Community (EAC), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and selected sub-entities and selected sub-entities. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Program positions anticipated include:

• Chief of party
• Organizational strengthening specialists
• Monitoring, evaluation, and learning specialist
• Short-term technical specialists with expertise in environmental policy; health research; economic reform; and conflict prevention. 

Qualifications:

• Experience in systems strengthening with emphasis on institutional capacity building/ performance improvement
• Knowledge and experience in training and facilitation
• Experience coordinating with government or quasi-governmental entities
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Experience in human and institutional capacity development preferred
• Experience working in East Africa preferred
