General Manager at Co-operative Bank of Kenya

The General Manager shall report to the Board of Directors of the Union and shall be directly responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Union’s long and short term plans.

He/She will also be responsible for prudent financial management of Union affairs, building profitable networks for Union, managing human resource, and maintaining strong stakeholders’ relationship among others.

Qualifications for the General Manager Job

• A bachelor’s degree in a business related field preferably accounting/finance, Economics, Business administration and 5 years’ experience in senior management in a busy financial institution or similar institution.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Good Analytical skills- Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
• Computer literate.
• Must be between 40-50 years of age.
