Finance Controller at RB

The Financial controller’s overall objective is to undertake all aspects of financial management, regulatory and financial reporting, and development of internal control policies and procedures as well as financial risk management. The role is responsible for handling management reporting and ensure all month end/year end closing are completed timely. The role requires close cross functional interaction with Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply and IS.

Is this You?

• A qualified chartered accountant
• Month end submissions and reporting

   

• Financial management of accounts in line with global policies, controls and timelines and external financial regulations and frameworks

   

• Ensure satisfactory internal control policies

   

• Monitor trade spend and consumer marketing spend vs plan and ensure correct GL coding

   

• Account payable/payment management

   

• Liaise with distributors for collection of due balances

   

• Balance sheet reviews
• Conduct vendor and customer reconciliation

   

• Prepare statutory accounts, VAT returns and other required filings

   

• Complete plan and forecast to corporate timetable and instruction

   

• Desire to work in a fast paced consumer goods global organization

   

• Ambition and a desire to drive continuous improvement

   

• Working experience with FMCG/MNC

   

• CAN Do attitude and proactively take initiatives

   

• Excellent analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation

   

• Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles

   

• Capable of handling taxation, corporate and legal matters
