The African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), established in 1988 is a public not-for-profit organization devoted to the advancement of economic policy research and training. AERC's mission is to strengthen local capacity for conducting independent, rigorous inquiry into the problems facing the management of economies in sub-Saharan Africa. That mission rests on two basic premises.
Reporting to the ICT Manager your duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• IT help desk support services meeting prescribed SLA's
• Online portal supporting proposal submission, reviews and publications workflows
• Enhanced SharePoint intranet delivering custom Project management and M&E functionality
• Document management system requirements and evaluation reports
• Digital library system requirements and evaluation reports
• Updated IT assets and software inventory database
