    Lab Analyst Project Trainee

    Basic Qualifications

    • A Bachelors Degree in one of the following subjects;
    • Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/Pure Chemistry
    • Industrial Chemistry
    • Analytical Chemistry
    • Must have graduated in the year 2016 or 2017.

    Preferred Qualifications

    A Bachelors Degree in one of the following subjects;

    • Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/Pure Chemistry
    • Industrial Chemistry
    • Analytical Chemistry

    Skills

    • Familiarity with Laboratory procedures
    • Good Oral communication skills
    • Attention to details
    • Good record-keeping skills
    • Computer skills - basic

    Details

    Job Description-The Project Trainee will be trained and charged with the testing of in-use Stability samples for finished products.

    This will involve the analytical testing of in-use stability samples using written instructions to accurately prepare samples and conduct chemical and physical analysis as scheduled in collaboration with the lab manager.

    The purpose of in-use stability testing is to provide information for multi-dose products after opening.

    Quality Control: Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses on products to uncover defects. Reports to management who make the decision to allow or deny the release. Testing for process monitoring. Testing of Raw Materials

     

    Essential Responsibilities

    i) Scheduling and planning testing.

    ii) Performing the Analysis.

    iii) Report Writing.

    iv) Notification of any stability failures.

    v) Safety health and environment protection.

    vi) Writing reports and keeping all records and Data.

    vii) Proper use of laboratory equipment.

    viii) Complying with quality and EHS standards for all activities carried out in the laboratory and GSK at large.
