We are currently recruiting for an experienced Data Compliance Director (SSA) to join our team based in our offices in Nairobi, Kenya.

• You will be part of a global programme looking and driving forward strategic and operational initiatives for the Enterprise Compliance Office for the SSA region. You will drive the success of pre-defined strategic initiatives across all their business functions encompassing processes, systems, policies in line with the compliance regulations and guidelines.
• You will need to have experience in and leading a function, be comfortable delivering large complex data privacy/compliance projects including reviewing and updating processes and practices across the business. Ideally you will have experience in the pharmaceutical sector coupled with a solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in which QuintilesIMS operates in.
• There will be a commercial element to this leadership position in overseeing compliance related activities for acquisitions and integrations and working with Business Development on RFP compliance related questions from clients. You will need excellent communication skills as it will involve intercompany and cross functional working.
• You will need excellent communication and analytical skills coupled with the ability to drive value in a complex environment where privacy and security is paramount.
