The successful candidate MUST have prior work experience in the poultry industry and must be a Degree/Diploma holder of a Veterinary Medicine/Animal Production qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring all aspects of running the farm are met.
• Maintaining safe working practices.
• Managing and motivating a team.
• Ensuring welfare of livestock.
• Ventilation management.
• Feed and vaccinations management.
• Production performance.
• Record keeping and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must have a Degree/Diploma in Veterinary Medicine/Animal Production or related field.
• Must have above 3 years experience in poultry industry.
• Must have people management skills and be self-motivated.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Must be willing to work in EMBU
