    Senior Sales Excutive

    What You'll Do

    Manage and develop DataGroupIT Checkpoint business in East Africa by working very closely with Checkpoint East Africa team. Own Checkpoint business relationship and work hand in hand with Checkpoint team to execute common goals in the region.

    Key Goals are:

    • Increase revenue through new net accounts, including creating specific account plans, for existing and potential customers across East Africa.
    • Forecast and report activity carefully, accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Identify major projects within the target base, managing activities to maximize product, services and support revenues
    • Grow into new territories in East Africa
    • Ensure customer are happy with Checkpoint solution

    Responsibilities include

    • Analyze, develop and present solutions to CXO level executives.
    • Drive activities associated with strategic account planning
    • Ensure a coordinated and consistent customer engagement within identified accounts and across region.
    • Identify new sales opportunities within the existing Checkpoint customer base, work with the Account Teams to qualify opportunities
    • Leverage and nurture the Checkpoint partner base, work with the Partner sales teams to win new business deals.
    • Control the sales process and drive leads to closure - generate new revenues.
    • Drive sales campaigns into target prospect base, working with Checkpoint field sales and Partner sales teams.

    Required Skills

    • Experience in selling IT security solutions (Preferably Checkpoint Solutions)
    • Demonstrated client relationship skills up to VP, and SVP-level executives in enterprise accounts within East Africa
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively persuade sales, business and technical decision makers to make investment in new or emerging solutions
    • Forecast and report activity accurately in line with expectations using SFDC
    • Proactive, direct customer engagement at all levels, and working with our channel partners to develop leads and work through sales opportunities as a team.
    • Good knowledge of the security technologies and products, specially on Checkpoint solutions
    • Great collaboration skills and team working skills to develop trusted relationships internally as well as externally with Partners and Customers
    • Excellent communications skills are expected in this role

    Who You Are

    • University Graduate with a degree or higher qualifications
    • Have business level English communication skills
    • Proven/Quantifiable track record of over-achievement in at least 5 of the last 7 years
    • Good, all-round knowledge of the security market, associated channels and end-users
    • Track record in closing major end user customers for projects, running to more than $1,000,000 in a security business
    • Can demonstrate an ability to build and maintain relationships with CSO, CISO or CIOs in Enterprise customers
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. A team player.
    • Task/goal orientated and takes ownership, with an ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term goals. Customer centric with strong ethics.
