MPS Process Engineer at Monsanto Company

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

• Develop improvement work studies and identify quality and performance opportunities, cost reduction and analyze the main variables of the process, proposing actions to the production team in the case of deviation / changes that may cause problems of loss of production / quality / safety / environment.
• Promote discussion among plant representatives on good practices, performance results and new technologies for the production processes. Promote operational training when necessary.
• Responsible for the AM2020 initiatives (AI, MES, MPS) in the sites.
• Responsible for guarantee the updating of technical documentation and monitoring changes in the process through the Change Management System (MOC).
• Responsible for the roll out of the innovation and optimization projects as MR in the plants being responsible for the preparation of document assumptions, technical support and KPI`s monitoring.
• Conduct Lean & Six Sigma projects and provide leadership, prioritization and direction, acting as champion for other engineers and team members.
• Lead the justification of capital projects as well as budget and LRP initiatives.
• Responsible to represent the Optimization team in global studies and lead projects aiming exchanging good practices between countries.
• Participate actively to solve issues and enable production goals to be meet. To contribute to the improvement of the quality of products and services, reducing the risk of accidents and be in compliance with environment and health.

Required Qualifications:

• Engineer degree or its equivalent.
• Lean/6Sigma Certificate
• Advanced English.

PC Literate: Microsoft Office package (Excel, PPT, Word), Access, AP, Automation, Outlook.

Required Knowledge:

• Requires at least 3-5 years of industrial experience/engineering.
• Cooperation and interface/communication management skills
• Knowledge and experience within engineering, project, risk management, ESH and QA
