International Sales and Marketing Executive at WTS Energy

Objective of the role:

The role will be varied with responsibility for sales & marketing in Kenya and the other East African countries.

This role will suit an individual with commercial experience within a metals, tubular or machinery sectors for a sales & marketing role. The role will include business development, customer relationship management, contract/account management, attendance to incoming/outgoing shipments of our inventory in Mombasa or customer’s premises, preparing for tenders/ quotations, meet with clients/suppliers and determine their needs and recommend our applications/products to customers with support by sales engineers.

Ideal candidate:

• Sales experience – ideally in OCTG (casing & tubing) and/or Linepipe
• More than 5 years of working experience in oil industry or relevant area
• Technical sales experience will be strong advantage
• Degree level education in engineering, with very strong numeric ability
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Persistent, tenacious personality
• Cheerful, proactive, team member
• Able to handle inside sales activity too (ie documentation etc)
• Business level English essential with good communication skills
• Able to travel overseas for work (mainly East Africa countries and occasionally London/Aberdeen and Dubai)
• Salary level will relate to experience and training can be given for the right person.
