    Head of Human Resource

    The Automobile Association of Kenya is a national motoring association founded in 1919. It is dedicated to promoting and safeguarding the interests and safety of member motorist while on the road.
     
    Our long heritage, international affiliation, countrywide branch network and a team of highly qualified professional and technical team assure our members of a stress free motoring experience.
     
    The association takes leadership in vehicle valuation, driving school, towing services, insurance, driver reference bureau, international driving permits, and defensive driving among other services.
    The Association is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Head of Human Resource to join this great team and support the Association’s Human Resource agenda.
     
    The role holder will be responsible for:
    • Performance Management – deliver performance management programs that drives a high performance culture;
    • Recruitment and Selection – direct and manage the recruitment and selection process;
    • Learning and Development – implement and monitor effective training programs;
    • Human Resources policy – constantly reviews, implement and maintain human resources policies across the Association;
    • Leadership – mentor and provide coaching to help our staff reach their full potential and manage key human resources metrics.
    The Candidate
    • A Degree or higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized university;
    • Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management;
    • Minimum 5 years of extensive knowledge of and experience in a senior HR position;
    • A demonstrated track record in developing and implementing strategic business and HR objectives;
    • Superior interpersonal, coaching, communication and negotiation skills;
    • Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
