    HR Head - Africa.

    Job description

    The ideal candidate Must have extensive working experience in English and Anglophone speaking Africa countries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Represent the business to the rest of the HR community
    • Assess HR implications of the business strategy, identify opportunities to further meet business needs
    • Establish and maintain relationships with senior managers in order to drive the execution of HR programs
    • Represent the full spectrum of HR programs and processes to the business
    • Consult and support business in implementation of HR processes in respective business areas
    • Consult business on HR policies and processes in the region
    • Act as owner of all documentation and data for business
    • Generate reports or provide data as required, both for the business as well as within HR

    Qualification:

    • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Human Resources. CIPD qualification would be a plus
    • At least 5 years ' experience in a similar position gained in an international environment
    • Knowledge of local employment law within Africa
    • French speaking would be an added advantage
    • Strong business acumen; thorough understanding of business goals, vision, culture and environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
    • Strong sense of customer service Client and relationship management
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
    • Proactive, innovative and problem solving skills
    • Analytical skills: ability to analyze data from multiple sources
    • Proven ability to operate successfully in a highly matrix global organization
    • Self-starter, self-motivated; ability to work autonomously
    • Collaborative team player
