    Buyer-Logistics, Raw and Packaging

In keeping with our current business needs, the Nestlé Regional Head Office has a vacancy for the position of a Strategic Buyer-Raw, Packaging Materials & Logistics reporting directly to the Group Procurement Manager.

    Applications are hereby required from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position. The position will be based in Nestlé Regional Head Office, Nairobi.

    Purpose of the job:

    You will develop, validate, communicate and implement a category specific sourcing strategy and projects that deliver a competitive advantage to the business

    Key Responsibilities will be to;

    • Implementation of sourcing strategy, communication plan and supplier management plan as a business partner for various business units;
    • Select appropriate suppliers for the spend category;
    • Ensure Lowest Total Cost of Ownership;
    • Ensure all the key suppliers within the spend category in charge are completely adhered to Nestlé’ Suppliers Code;
    • Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into Nestlé’ Innovation and Renovation processes.
    • Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders;
    • Drive and be accountable to responsible Sourcing, Supplier Performance and Vendor Approval Process.

    The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;

    • Honors degree from a recognized university;
    • Minimum 4 years demonstrable experience in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies;
    • Knowledge of Procurement;
    • Demonstrable successful use of risk management and supplier relation management;
    • Ability to successfully lead projects;
    • Strong leadership and negotiation skills;
    • Ability to thrive in a network organization.

    Key Account Manager

    In keeping with our current business needs, Nestle Kenya has a vacancy for the position of Key Accounts Manager reporting to the National Sales Manager-Kenya.

    Applications are hereby required from suitable and qualified candidates to fill the vacant position. The position will be based in Nestle Kenya Office in Industrial Area.

    Purpose of the job:

    Lead, develop and implement the Key accounts plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies while achieving profitable sales objectives.

    Key Responsibilities will be to;

    • Define and execute strategies and plans for the customers in line with the business requirements.
    • Ensure company product availability in all outlets and ensuring listing of new products is done.
    • Ensure the achievement of agreed upon customer targets
    • Implement, follow up and update customer plans for Key accounts
    • Offer insight in the development of Category Channel.
    • Ensure proper invoicing and timely deliveries.
    • Collaborate with peer Customer Managers to share Customer Best Practices, liaise with other functions to drive Customer related initiatives.
    • Ensure adherence to company principles and polies

    The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
    • Minimum of 5 years in business operations, with at least 3 years’ experience in Key Accounts Management from FMCG and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results
    • Effective business planning and selling
    • Marketing Experience is a plus
    • Good presentation and communication skills
