Nurse at Caremax Medical Centre

Job Summary:

The Nurse Assistant will work collaboratively with the other clinicians mainly in a supportive role at Caremax to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of care.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport and providing psychological support.
• Promotes adherence to infection-control policies and protocols and storage procedures.
• Documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Documenting patient care services by charting and using electronic medical records system.
  • Taking and documenting vital signs and weight measurements
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients within the facility if needed.
• Prepares daily reports and other reports as requested.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Nursing from a reputable University or College
• At least 2 years’ experience as a nurse assistant / aide
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; pays attention to detail
• Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively with a team in a culturally diverse environment
