    Cluster Finance Manager

    Job description

    Job Purpose:

    Serve as the Finance Co-pilot, partnering with the Market Director and Sales team, providing financial leadership and decision support to achieve profitable growth; responsible for governance of distributor relationship, trade spend, NQCs, revenue recognition; delivers customer profitability reporting and drives creation of robust channel and customer targets for IMS, NS and profitability; establishes control environment for Sales Controllable costs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the financial planning, analysis and presentations to the Market Director and Sales leaders of budgets, forecasts, long range plans and monthly performance reports. Own the OP/RP/stretch plans from IMS to NS, developing the targets by customer and distributor, where relevant.

    Provide robust analysis through:

    In-depth analysis of NSV, controllable contribution and GMAC performance, with implications risks and opportunities clearly articulated. Clearly articulate drivers of volume, price and mix trends within channels and key customers.

    • Clear, concise and timely analysis of channel performance, deliver insightful commentary and communication to give clarity on drivers of performance (NSV and P&L) and trends with a clear call to action.
    • Co-pilot the Sales team to develop robust Trade budgets for their areas of responsibility
    • Deliver understanding of channel, customer and distributor through channel and customer profitability reporting, and through insight and understanding of risks and opportunities drive corrective actions at channel and customer level to achieve targets.
    • Working collaboratively with the Sales teams proactively identify and analyze business issues and opportunities, including recommendations for future actions. Initiate, lead, and manage projects to improve current business results and deliver against strategy.
    • Sign off activity volumes and P&Ls with the CBU Finance Managers. Be the finance spoke for the market within the DMR and IR.
    • Develop and implement robust control processes and procedures to ensure sales controllable costs (eg Trade Expenditure, Sales IT, Sales overheads, Display and Equipment, Chillers) are in line with the Finance Manual.
    • Approval of trade spend within the agreed budget in OP, monitoring the stocks levels for each distributor both on forecasts and actual sales while ensuring compliance with 8 weeks rule and revenue recognition methodology.
    • As the market custodian for distributor/service provider relationship and governance, the role is responsible to sign off and reconcile all the trade activities with the distributor, establish a robust process for supporting documentation and approve any distributor’s claims/debit notes.
    • Specifically focus on RTM strategic initiatives that drive simplification

    Education & Experience:

    • University Degree/ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldbility with stakeholders, able to influence and challenge to achieve results
    • 10 plus years of experience
