    Software Developer

    Job Description

    The developer will be joining an existing team in Kenya and he or she should have following  qualifications

    • Computer Science or related IT degree
    • 2 year work  experience
    • Experience with HTML,CSS and Javascript
    • Should be knowledgeable in one of the following languages Java, Golang, Kotlin,NodeJS
    • Know how to work with one or more of the following databases MySQL,Postgres,CockroachDB,MongoDB

    Qualities

    • Can work with a team
    • Can quickly learn new technologies
    • Can work without supervision.
    • Self driven and disciplined
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines and moving milestones

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute towards the development of projects at Doveria.
    • Provide documentation(both technical and non-technical) of projects worked on.
    • Participate in weekly code reviews.
    • Provide recommendations on improvement of processes and incorporation of emerging technologies.
    • Ensure you have a good internet connection for interactions with the rest of the team.
