    Human Resource Assistant

    Duties

    • Processing payroll, which includes ensuring leave and sick/Absent time are tracked in the system; whilst answering post payroll staff questions and Facilitate resolutions to any payroll errors
    • Assist in HR administrative tasks and activities such as leave management and maintenance of staff records.
    • Participating in the discipline processes, and ensure proper paperwork/records are maintained
    • Facilitate Recruitment/New Hire and pre-employment staff training
    • Maintaining current HR files and databases and preparing new employee files
    • Answering Various employee questions
    • Compiling HR reports and spreadsheets
    • Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Job Requirements

    • Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, and management team
    • Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information
    • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
    • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
    • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
    • Be of exemplary integrity and honesty
    • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Be a team player
    • A Degree/Diploma in a relevant discipline. A diploma in HRM is a must.
    • 2-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
    • Membership to HRM profession also an added advantage
    • Be between 24 – 27 years of age

    Office Driver

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in loading and offloading the vans and any other vehicle
    • Ensuring the sanitary bins schedule has been adhered to accordingly.
    • To drop and pick off crew at various sites promptly
    • To Ensure material are distributed as assigned
    • Ensuring safety of materials or people being ferried
    • Run errands in and out of the office as directed
    • To ensure the company vehicles are clean and properly maintained.
    • To operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
    • To keeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside
    • Keeping proper records of the vehicle assigned to him
    • Complying with statutory regulations regarding driving.
    • To recognize vehicle maintenance needs
    • To undertake ad-hoc assignment or duties assigned by management when required
    • Comply with the rules of the road such as traffic lights and so on
    • Perform basic inspection of the vehicle before traveling and ensure that vehicles are in good condition and safe
    • Ensure records kept are up to-date, accessible and comprehensive
    • Any other duty that may be allocated from time to time

    Job Qualifications

    • Over 3 years’ experience as a corporate driver is required
    • Must be very polished and street smart
    • Familiar with the routes in Nairobi and surrounding environs
    • Mature, healthy with excellent eyesight and punctual with a good attendance record
    • Ability to multi task, willingness to learn and positive attitude
    • A valid driving license
    • Free of any criminal record
    • Flexibility in terms of working hours
