    With a keen focus on providing holistic education for our pupils, we embrace an approach that addresses all facets of growth and development. Our aim is to make every pupil the best he/she can in all areas of development. Our activities are, therefore well planned and tailor made to enable the learner attain maximum knowledge through practical participation.

    We have introduced New Curriculum as directed by the Ministry of Education, It’s now in progress and our facilities such as the playground and other materials are available.

    Plainsview Educational Point, situated on Plainsview Road in South B estate, was opened in the year 1998 and offers a serene learning environment for children between the ages of 6 and 13 years.




    We are a unique co-educational day primary the Kenyan Curriculum from Kindergarten (Aged 3-5) through to Standard 8 to students from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds. We seek to recruit a cook for our school with a strong background in Continental cuisine. School cooks provide nutritious, balanced and value-for-money meals to children every lunch time in term time.

    What’s involved

    • The role of school cook could include:-
    • Planning menus according to a fixed budget and following guidelines on nutrition and healthy eating
    • Achieve food budget cost controls, ensuring minimum wastage within the unit
    • Monitoring and managing supplies within a budget
    • Complying with food safety legislation
    • Enforces health and safety standards in the kitchen
    • To ensure total accountability for the day to day running of the kitchen service.
    • Ordering food

    Skills and experience you will need

    • Good standards of hygiene
    • Organised and methodical
    • Experience of catering
    • Supervising a team of catering staff
    • Must have a passion and a love for food.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
    • Excellent management and organization skills.
    • Works well under pressure
    • Good attention to detail.

    Entry requirements

    • At least 2 yrs relevant experience in a similar position.
    • At least a diploma in food and Beverages (added advantage)
