    Multi- Unit Store Manager

    About the role

    Yves Rocher Kenya has an immediate opening for a Multi-Unit Store Manager who will be responsible for establishing Yves Rocher as a leading beauty and cosmetics brand in Kenya by overseeing operations and performance of their retail shops.

    Key Responsibilities

    Store Operations

    • Manage store operational requirements by overseeing the scheduling and assignment of employees & following up on work results weekly,  
    • Oversee adherence to clock in and clock out procedures to ensure accurate timesheets and payroll.
    • Ensure performance of daily store processes and procedures by frequently spot checking for compliance.
    • Conduct store administration duties and ensure compliance with policies and procedures; advise on implementation of policies and procedures as and when required.
    • Marketing and maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising.
    • Manage store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

    Client Relations

    • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
    • Report on buying trends and customer needs per discussions with store staff; propose innovative ideas to increase market share.        

    Inventory Management

    • Ensure the availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories and ensuring replenishment requests are completed in a timely manner.
    • Oversee all in-store inventory / stock-taking procedures to ensure accuracy.

    Does this sound like you?

    • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
    • Diploma level education from a reputable college; graduation from a beauty-related course preferred
    • Powerful leadership skills and business orientation with a strong commitment to excellence in sales and customer service.
    • Demonstrated interest or passion for the beauty industry with an eagerness to learn about the Yves Rocher brand and product range
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office.
    • Physical fitness as the position requires lifting items, bending, standing, and walking the entire workday
    • Ability to work shifts and over the weekend
    • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication  and interpersonal skills
