    Snapchat - Account Executive

    The position requires daily communication with our East, Central, and West African based agencies and brands. You will be comprehensively trained on Snapchat’s product set and be expected to deliver on quarterly sales targets.

    Snapchat stands as the leader in Augmented Reality Marketing and introduced the power of virtual reality to communication in our daily lives. Snapchat offers brands a unique and innovative way to build new relationships with their audiences. Through Snapchat, brands have the ability to become a feature of the platform, such as a lens or filter, allowing users to ‘play’ with the content they build. Snapchat brings positive sentiment to brands and builds brand equity.

    Typical day to day operations consists of:

    • Educating agencies & brands on Snapchat’s capabilities
    • Forging and maintaining valued client relationships
    • Gaining in-depth understanding of our client’s needs and challenges
    • Preparing and presenting thought provoking proposals
    • Managing communications with agencies & brands and ensuring optimal campaign performance
    • Closing deals with existing clients and identifying opportunities for new leads and repeat business

    This is a 6 month contract which will be extended based on performance.

    REQUIREMENTS

    General

    • Digital media sales experience
    • Passion for tech innovation
    • Good presentation skills – both spoken & written
    • Good numerical skills & attention to detail
    • Ambitious and positive self starter attitude

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Undergraduate degree
    • Minimum 3 years experience in digital media sales

    It would be to your advantage if you:

    • Have an established client base
    • Have knowledge of the South African agency/digital landscape
    • Experienced with Keynote and Hubspot CRM
