    Leadership Launchpad Facilitator

    Job description

    About Alx

The future of Africa will be defined by its leaders and their ability to unleash the incredible potential of the continent. ALX sees unprecedented opportunities for our fellow Africans to innovate, re-imagine and be the catalysts for transformation on the continent. ALX is a Pan-African leadership movement for high potential and high impact leaders that enables them to take on Africa's greatest challenges and most exciting opportunities. By collaborating, growing and networking together in the ALX community space, members will maximize their impact as they shape the future of the continent.

The first ALX Leadership Lab will launch in Nairobi to bring the ALX community to life. We offer unique Leadership Accelerators for Young Leaders and for Young Professionals in leadership roles, as well as high impact workshops and events.

We are looking for passionate rising leaders committed to the African future to join our team in the role of Leadership Facilitators.

    About The Young Leaders Launchpad

The Young Leaders Launchpad is ALX's core offering for high potential leaders who want to accelerate into a career and life of passion and purpose. Young Leaders are vital members of the ALX Community of innovative problem solvers that want to make a difference.

Over the six-month membership induction, our Young Leaders will build their career foundation for the 21st century: critical thinking, impactful communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and data-driven decision making, while growing as leaders delivering societal impact. Through the Launchpad they build a strong career platform and an extraordinary network. Launchpad members will gain hands-on experience by working on real-world projects, connecting with potential employers and exploring how to solve for innovative, venture ideas. The Launchpad will focus mainly on four areas: Project Management, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Data and Decisions, and Communicating For Impact.

    About The Leadership Facilitator Role

The Leadership Facilitator supports Young Leaders to own their development and growth journeys. By coaching and facilitating, you play a key role to develop themselves further, build mindsets and competencies. During engaging in-person sessions, you will help create "light-bulb" moments, shape their thinking and stimulate their minds to grow and thrive.

Outside of the in-person sessions, facilitators are responsible for supporting Young Leaders through their journey by providing constructive feedback and career development mentorship.

If you are passionate about enabling Young Leaders to reach their full potential, to coach and develop the next generation of African leaders, while growing your professional skills and leadership foundation in an exciting and innovative place, you will love working with ALX. If you have a hunger to take on new challenges, experiment with novel ideas, and approach situations with a beginner's mindset, join us!
