Job Description

The applicant should be able to perform following activities:

• Read and correctly interpret drawings of simple structural components independently and critical drawings with guidance.
• Read measuring/levelling instruments Tape Measure, Vernier Calipers and Dumpy Level.
• Correct marking with variety of dimensions for assembling parts.
• Good tack welding.
• On Job free hand gas-cutting if required during assembly.
• Grinding work as and when required during assembly.
• Weld edge preparation of small parts during assembly if required.
• Flatness correction by heating.
• Fitting of small items without using cranes if required.
• Maintaining own work area and taking care of machines, tools and tackles.
• Handling of simple and small parts with EOT crane.
• Knowledge of press brake and rolling machine operation would be extra advantage for candidate.
