The ideal candidate is deeply creative and has a passion for internet trends and culture, a sharp sense of humor, comedic timing, technical craft in camera work, motion graphics, design and telling original dynamic stories.

You love being creative, coming up with new ways to make content valuable to a particular audience, you have experience creating content and posting on social accounts.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit video content for multi-platform use and distribution including online, Video and social media channels (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram,IGTV, Facebook Stories and Instagram Stories).
• Write, direct, produce and edit original short form video content for VISKT and other ultra short-form platforms
• Develop new short-form formats that can work across platforms
• Work with Channel Operations and Insights team to learn and optimize video performance
• Collaborate with celebrities, and other guests
• Know what's happening around the internet, ready to come up with short content ideas on the fly.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in video post-production
• Strong awareness of online video content and trends across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and other platforms
• Experience working closely with talent is a plus
• Organized, dependable, knowledgeable and detail oriented
• Solid understanding of what makes viral content on social media
• Creative, determined to create new content each day so things don't get stale
• Have 1-2 years of professional quality videography experience
• Knowledge of DSLR cameras, having own shooting equipment a plus
• Strong executional understanding in how to make impactful micro content for specific audiences and platforms
• Experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and the entire Adobe creative suite
• Ideal candidate has a very strong work ethic, positive attitude, and can adapt to change quickly
• Strong communication skills comfortable asking for feedback and or trying to move projects in different creative directions

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent real-world, hands-on experience
