    Corporate Sales Representative

     

    About the job

    Job holder reports to the Head of sales.

    Job location, Kijabe Street, Nairobi.

    Candidate age profile 25 - 35 years.

    Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    • Researching and identifying sales opportunity, generating leads, target identification and classification.
    • Reaching out to new customers and making presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of our products.
    • Understanding the client’s requirements and then customizing the product/ services as per their needs.
    • Maintaining relationship with all potential and existing clients.
    • Ensuring proper servicing and after sales support to clients.
    • Data reporting to management and gathering market intelligence.
    • Day to day management of all sales activity for assigned accounts
    • Meet or exceed personal sales quota
    • Drive feedback and bring insights from client meetings and internal meetings to help close deals, help the company scale, and drive higher client retention.
    • Collaborate with assigned Inside Sales Rep and work together to align on account/prospect research and strategy
    • Continuously provide strategic plans for developing his/her territory.
    • Execute complex sales and effectively manage the sales process and activities
    • Drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of TBC Products, and those of our competitors.
    • Effectively engage sales resources: Solutions, Product, Marketing, and Executive teams on the development and execution of customer account plans.
    • Help maintain a sales culture of innovation, determination, imagination and respect by living up to those values daily.

    Preferred Professional Qualification

    Diploma / Degree in Sales and Marketing or any related field.

    Experience

    At least 5 years’ experience in corporate sales of office stationery and office equipment including IT and accessories. Knowledge of bookselling will be an advantage.
