Responsibilities

• Undertake proper requirements gathering and appropriate research before commencing on projects.
• Regularly meet with clients and colleagues to discuss design projects.
• Advise clients on effective visual communication strategies.
• Determine appropriate size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, font style and size.
• Create powerful images that identify a product or convey a message.
• Present preliminary designs to clients and/or senior colleagues.
• Incorporate recommended changes into the final design.
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
• Publish images and other content on websites, social media pages and other online platforms.
• Coordinate and ensure quality printing of end products where necessary.
• Keep up with latest design and online content trends and apply them to projects.

Requirements

• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software.
• Exceptional creativity and innovation.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Customer Focus.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
• Graphic design qualifications.
• At least two years of proven work experience.
• Digital marketing experience and/or qualifications will be an added advantage.
