Background Information
PP Global has expanded reach for young and marginalized communities in the remote villages and urban slums of Kenya and Uganda to access sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and services through the Youth Peer Provider (YPP) model. The YPP program provides an innovative way to minimize barriers faced by marginalized adolescents and youth in accessing SRHR services they need to avoid unintended and unwanted pregnancies that eventually lead to unsafe abortions, by training youth to provide sexual and reproductive health information and contraceptives to their peers.
As part of TA support to the YPP local organizations, PP Global -ARO, is therefore planning to Organize the second phase of YPP integrated training for Kenya. This is a 3-day workshop for YPP partners in Kenya, to specifically realize the objective of strengthening their capacity and improve their knowledge and skills needed to sustain the YPP model past PP Global support. The lessons and activities can be adapted to suit the community context.

To provider documentation and rapporteur service for the workshop prepare a final report of the Workshop.

The consultant will take notes during the workshop deliberations and prepare the final report of the workshop

The consultancy will take about 4 day, (3 days of the workshop and 1 day for final report preparation).

Payment Terms
PPFA will pay the agreed amount less 5% withholding tax upon submission and review of the presentation and completion of facilitation of the workshop.
Evaluation and Award of the Consultancy
PPFA, Africa Regional Office- (ARO) will review the consultant’s profile and other documents and award the assignment based on the technical and financial soundness and feasibility. Planned Parenthood Global- ARO reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal received without giving reasons and is not bound to accept the lowest, highest or any bidder.
Note; Planned Parenthood Global- ARO has the sole ownership of all information and materials related to the consultancy and shall only be shared or reproduced with written permission of PP Global.
