    Business Planning and Analysis Manager

    Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit the position of Business Planning and Analysis Manager within Sales and Distribution Division. This role reports to the Head of Distribution and Operations.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provide Sales and distribution with performance reports on all KPIs such as activations, primary airtime sales, remuneration and business updates.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly performance presentations for Commercial Reviews.
    • Provide the Commercial team with distributor and staff monthly performance reports.
    • Compute and disburse monthly distributor commissions.
    • Provide Group office with updates on the Department’s initiatives and performance outcomes.
    • Track, measure and evaluate all key KPI’s of new product launches
    • Compute monthly Sales Incentives Programs (SIP).
    • Develop, monitor and run recognition programs for Channel Partners and sales teams.
    • In liaison with Head of Distribution and Operations, forecast, plan and monitor the department’s OPEX and budget.
    • Manage, coach and develop a highly motivated team of analysts.
    • In conjuction with Head of Distribution and Operations, drive and own Sales processes, policies and documentation.
    • Work closely with IT to ensure that all reporting requirements are taken in to account.
    • Liaise with Finance, IT, Legal and other departments to resolve issues affecting distribution partners and Sales teams.
    • Support the Sales team in developing and implementing strategies and initiatives by providing clarity to other departments, Channel Partners and the field sales team.
    • Liaise with other departments on business re-engineering processes relating to distribution team and Sales partner support.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Finance from a recognized university.
    • 4 to 6 years of varied experience in sales operations in Telecom, FMCG or banking (with knowledge of agency banking) industries.
    • At least 2 years of working experience in managing a team.
    • High proficiency and knowledge of advanced Excel and PowerPoint ,SQL

    Device Manager

    Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit for the role of Device Manager within the Marketing Division. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Device Manager will be responsible for all Device initiatives including distribution, product and partner relations.This role will work in close collboration with the Sales, Enterprise and Retail shop teams.

    Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Ensure proper distribution of Data Devices at all important touch points like Own Shops, High Footfall SSO, Multi Handset Device Outlets etc.
    • Plan, lead and direct all device initiatives in close collaboration with the Sales, Enterprise and Retail teams.
    • Identify opportunities, evaluate and recommend product changes and enhancements.
    • Keep abreast with the latest market dynamics and propose changes on device strategy accordingly.
    • Manage Partner relations  and leverage their distribution with measurable KPIs.
    • Come up with strategies for device led acquisitions.
    • Build and Train all the relevant teams/people on Devices, Products and Processes.
    • Ensure regular and relevant communication on ATL and BTL on agreed activities.
    • Ensure proper reporting on Sales nos., Quality and Revenues to all stakeholders.
    • Ensure optimal stock availability through regular monitoring and forecasting.
    • Keep partners aligned with our tactical business strategy, ensuring their support for the business roadmap.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in business related course.
    • At least 5-8 years work experience in device ecosystem
    • A financial background would be an added advantage

    Acquisition Manager

    Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit for the role of Acquisition Manager, within the Marketing division. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role will provide direction and ongoing coaching to the sales team on customer acquisition whilst ensuring that all new customer objectives are met.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Put in place an all-encompassing onboarding process for postpaid, prepaid and hybrid customers that includes a profit story, customer sales pitch, KYC, Number provisioning, AM activation, line activation, offer provisioning, Am top-up and recharge.
    • Identify and asses cash loss sites and develop a remedial plan towards profitability of the identified sites.
    • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of all acquisition elements.
    • Train and create awareness on new products, processes and policies for both Internal and external partners.
    • Ensure M2 Decay is as low as possible and do regular market visits to drive quality of execution on the ground.
    • Ensure competitive and relevant acquisition offers are in place
    • Have full accountability and responsibility for product life cycle management of acquisition offers.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a business related function
    • 6-8 years’ work experience in Marketing and or Sales functions in roles that require interpretation of data into actionable initiatives
    • Good knowledge of channel Sales
